Giftedness—A Blessing or a Curse?

Book Recommendations for Those Affected and Their Families

Approximately 2 to 3% of people are considered gifted. These individuals are usually capable of incredible achievements, but there is also a downside. Giftedness is often unrecognized or mistaken for something entirely different, which frequently works to the detriment of those affected.

With our book recommendations, we’d like to introduce the topic of giftedness: how to recognize it, how to support and challenge gifted individuals, what problems and challenges they and those around them face, and what opportunities giftedness can offer.
