Campus.Connect²

The universities of Zittau/Görlitz (HSZG) and Dresden(HTW Dresden) are jointly implementing the Campus.Connect² pilot project to sustainably digitalize university administration processes in Saxony. The aim is to integrate BundID, the central citizen mailbox (ZBP) and the future EUDI wallet into daily university operations - for greater security, efficiency and service quality.

Current processes are often paper-based or use isolated digital solutions - this leads to high administrative costs, media disruptions and data protection risks. With Campus.Connect², we are creating a standardized, secure and future-proof basis for the entire student life cycle - from application to degree administration.

• Students & applicants: Faster, secure and paperless application and registration processes.
• Teachers & administration: Reduced workload thanks to automated identity checks and digital delivery.
• Universities: Standardized, legally compliant and efficient administrative processes - with long-term cost benefits.

The results are incorporated into HISinOne standard updates and are automatically available to all HIS eG member universities. The solution is reusable, scalable and permanently operable - with the support of HIS eG and its partners from science and industry.
