Welcome to the Wild East!
We are a small university with a lot to offer at two locations. The university is located in the easternmost corner of Germany and thus in the heart of Europe. Both Zittau and Görlitz boast wonderful old towns that invite you to linger and enjoy yourself. Both cities are surrounded by beautiful lakes where you can unwind after a busy day at school or get some exercise. You’ll be amazed by how close everything is—from campus to where you live to recreational activities. The Zittau Mountains are perfect for hiking and rock climbing. Görlitz, the “City of Europe,” offers a wealth of culture, and there’s so much to discover along the Via Regia! Just take a look around.
