Patents & property rights
The HSZG holds various patents in the fields of energy technology, materials, and process engineering. Since intellectual property rights are often complex, we recommend using specialized databases for your research.
- Search Tools: Through the University Library’s resources, you have access to the most important patent databases (e.g., DEPATISnet, Espacenet).
Overview: Databases & Patent Search
Tip for patent searches: In databases (such as DPMAregister or DEPATISnet), use the “Advanced Search” option and simply enter “University of Zittau/Görlitz” in the “Applicant/Owner” field. This will provide you with an up-to-date list of our intellectual property rights.
