Patents & property rights
The HSZG holds various patents in the fields of energy technology, materials and process engineering. As intellectual property rights are often complex, we recommend using the specialized databases for searches.
- Search tools: You have access to the most important patent databases (e.g. DEPATISnet, Espacenet) via our University Library.

Tip for patent searches: Use the advanced search in the databases (such as DPMAregister or DEPATISnet) and simply enter "Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz" in the "Applicant/owner" field. This will provide you with an up-to-date list of our IP rights.
