Tips for implementing online evaluation for teachers

For each class / course to be evaluated, the teacher receives an email with the access data in the form of a web link and token for the course-specific online questionnaire. A course-specific QR code sheet is also attached to the email. The teacher can make the access data available to the students concerned in the following alternative ways:

  • Provision of the access data for the online questionnaire within the class / course (access data or QR code is displayed on the wall / screen via beamer and students are immediately asked to participate)
  • Sending an invitation email to students to take part in the survey (the email must contain at least the access data or QR code sheet and the deadline for participation)
  • Posting the access data or the QR code sheet in the OPAL course of the relevant class / course (including brief information on availability and participation deadline to the students)

Other information variants are also possible. Please note:

  • Participation must be limited in time. As a lecturer, please give your students a fixed end date. As a rule, one week is sufficient.
  • The questionnaire contains optional additional questions. Suggestions for additional questions can be found in the invitation e-mail with the access data. If you as a lecturer wish to make use of this option, please also inform the students of the additional questions you have formulated.
