English for Engineers B2

This module is aimed at students of engineering degree programs with existing English language skills at B2 level. The course teaches practice-oriented technical vocabulary and communicative skills for technical contexts. The focus is on understanding and writing technical texts, presenting technical content, communicating in an international project environment and dealing confidently with technical literature in English. The aim is to specifically expand language skills in a professional context and prepare students for international fields of work.

Spanish A1

Introduction to the Spanish language

This module offers a practice-oriented introduction to the Spanish language for students with no previous knowledge. It teaches basic language skills in listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. The focus is on everyday situations, simple conversations and regional aspects of Spanish-speaking countries. The aim is to create a solid basis for oral and written communication at A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and to promote cultural openness.

Polish A1

This module is aimed at students with no previous knowledge and teaches basic communicative skills in Polish. The focus is on simple everyday conversational situations, basic listening and reading comprehension and initial written forms of expression. The language lessons are supplemented by cultural insights into Poland and the German-Polish border region. The aim is to develop language skills at A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and to promote intercultural understanding.

Italian A1

This module offers a basic introduction to the Italian language for students with no previous knowledge. It teaches initial communicative skills for everyday situations as well as basic listening, reading and writing comprehension. The language lessons are supplemented by insights into the culture, society and way of life in Italy. The aim is to acquire language skills at level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and to promote intercultural openness.
