Dual / cooperative study at the HSZG with a (technical) high school diploma

Dual cooperative study

You can start a dual or cooperative degree course at the HSZG with a (technical) Abitur. You can find all the basic information about the dual/cooperative study program on the main page for the KIA study model

Here you will find all the options specifically for high school graduates and technical college students:

KIA

The original - study and training in one

KIA combines an engineering degree with recognized vocational training in an integrated dual study model. You acquire two fully-fledged degrees: a vocational qualification with a chamber examination (IHK or HWK) and a university degree (Bachelor or Diplom).

After a shortened training period of two and a half years, you will complete your vocational training. After a further two years (Bachelor) or two and a half years (Diplom), you will obtain your university degree.

Engineering studies and chamber-certified vocational training - parallel and coordinated.

KIA direct

Cooperative study without vocational training

KIAdirekt is a practice-oriented study model without vocational training. You will gain extensive practical experience in the company during the lecture-free period, in the practical semester and during your Bachelor's or Diplom thesis.

The course follows the regular course of study, but is supplemented by firmly integrated practical phases.

No degree - but early and continuous practical experience.
