From September 1, 2025, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will gradually introduce the digital Campus Card via the MyHSZG app. This digital ID document is available to all employees and will replace the physical Campus Card in the future.
After just a few clicks, the Campus Card is ready to hand on the end device and the first digital functions can be used conveniently.

The digital Campus Card confirms your affiliation to the university and can replace the physical Campus Card as a visual ID.
The barcode on the Campus Card can be used as a library card and grants access to library services.
The digital Campus Card can be used by employees to record their time in the booking portal.
Employees can submit sick notes online via the digital Campus Card.
The locking and payment functions as well as the printing service can still only be used with the physical Campus Card. We are working on integrating these functions into the digital Campus Card.

The digital Campus Card can be accessed via the shortcuts (top in illus.) or via the "My MyHSZG" tab (bottom in illus.).
After selecting the "MyHSZG" tab, click on the "Campus Card" module in the next step.

A current photo in passport photo format can be uploaded in the campus app for the digital Campus Card for employees. It is essential to ensure good image quality (sharp, well-lit, frontal shot). The face must be fully recognizable; sunglasses and headgear are not permitted as they can impair recognizability.
The photo can be renewed after 6 months.
The photo is only saved locally on the end device and is not transmitted to the university.
The digital Campus Card can be used on up to 3 devices.

Yes, the digital Campus Card can be used offline for up to 5 days. After that, an internet connection is required to check the validity and update the Campus Card.
No, the digital Campus Card is not mandatory and the physical ID card can still be used.
