Our Admission Requirements

During the winter semester, applications for the Master’s degree programme in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology are open only to applicants who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with 180 ECTS credits. These applicants will complete a Foundation Semester during the winter semester. The missing 30 ECTS credits are earned in subject-specific courses, and the Master’s program can then be started in the following summer semester.

For degree programs under the KIA study format, a training contract with a company that partners with the university is required.

Applicants with a degree as a technician, master craftsman, person with state recognition as an early childhood educator, or a similar degree from advanced vocational training in accordance with §18(3) of the Saxon Higher Education Act (SächsHSG) must attend a counseling session regarding general university admission. The interviews will take place at the end of June. Complete applications for admission—including the application form, copies of transcripts, and a resume—must be submitted to the Admissions Office by May 31 at the latest.
