The Institute of Process Engineering, Process Automation and Metrology (IPM) has an average of 30 scientists conducting research in the field of energy and the environment. Its core competencies include power plant, steam generator and combustion technology as well as the analysis, modeling and simulation of dynamic processes. The institute is also dedicated to modern technologies such as soft sensors, advanced control and magnetic bearing technology.
