Saxon Science Liaison Office in Cairo

The Saxon Science Liaison Office Cairo serves as the joint academic representative office in Egypt for five state universities of applied sciences in the Free State of Saxony.

As a central point of contact, the office connects universities, research institutions, public institutions, and other partners in Saxony and Egypt. It supports the development of long-term university partnerships, promotes academic mobility, and provides information on study and career opportunities in Saxony.

The Saxon Science Liaison Office Cairo strengthens academic and scientific ties between Saxony and Egypt. As a permanent on-site contact point, it connects universities, research and educational institutions, public institutions, and other cooperation partners in both countries.

The office supports the initiation and further development of university collaborations, joint study and mobility programs, scientific networks, and other institutional partnerships. In doing so, it provides access to the diverse higher education, research, and innovation landscape of the Free State of Saxony.

The Saxon Science Liaison Office Cairo is supported by the five state-run universities of applied sciences in Saxony:

• Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences
• West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau
