This course provides you with the skills you need to independently implement an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 or EMAS within a company

- Requirements for EMSs according to ISO 14001:2015 and their practical implementation within an organization
- Differences in requirements and procedures under EMAS
- Basic knowledge of auditing in accordance with ISO 19011
- Basic knowledge of certification and validation procedures
- Basic knowledge of environmental law
Prerequisites for Participation
Regular attendance at the class / course and successful completion of the examination components for the modules
- 289000 Environmental Management Systems and Operational Material Flow Management
- 267050 Obligations in Environmental, Energy, Climate, and health and safety management or
- 267000 Environmental, Energy, and Climate Protection Law or
- Proof of adequate knowledge
Target Audience
Master’s students in the following degree programmes: integrated management systems; or students in other degree programmes who have taken the above-mentioned module as an elective
