The course provides qualifications that you can use to support the introduction of sustainability management and sustainability reporting in companies.
Skills taught
- Sustainability terms and concepts
- Overview of sustainability frameworks at international and national level (SDGs, ILO core labor standards, OECD guidelines)
- Overview of the legal framework in Germany and the EU (NFRD, CSRD, ESRS, EU taxonomy, Supply Chain Duty of Care Act)
- Overview of international and national sustainability reporting concepts (GRI, DNK, IR, ESRS)
- Basics for setting up sustainability management, taking into account legal requirements and common sustainability standards (SR 10, CSRD, ESRS, ISO 26000)
Target group
Bachelor's students in the following programs
- Ecology and Environmental Protection
- Sustainable Business Administration
or students in other degree programs, provided they have taken the above-mentioned module as an elective
Requirements for participation
Regular attendance at the class / course and successful completion of the examination component for the module
