Students choose a course from the module "Interdisciplinary Competencies" (ZFL) of the Studium Fundamentale. The course descriptions are sorted by subject area.
Registration takes place online via the university's booking portal: boogking.hszg.de within the specified registration period - usually up to four weeks before the start of the semester.
After the registration deadline, participants are allocated to their course , taking into account the courses taking place and the places available.
Important: Courses can also be canceled. In this case, the affected students will be informed by e-mail.
The events take place either in Zittau or Görlitz. Please find out which module is offered at which location.
We will inform you of the rooms and exact dates after enrollment.
In the winter semester 25/26, enrollment takes place via the OPAL course "Studium Fundamentale". There you will also find all course descriptions again.
From summer semester 2026, registration will take place via the university's booking portal.
You can only register for one course at a time. If a course does not take place due to too few participants, we will inform you in good time by e-mail.
With the e-mail in which you receive your course allocation, you will automatically be registered for the examination of the respective course at the beginning of the semester.
During the registration period, you can register and deregister as often as you like in the booking portal.
Important: Deregistration in the booking portal does not mean automatic deregistration from the exam. You can only deregister from examinations via the Examinations Office or HIS.
