The registration period runs from
June 1, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. to June 30, 2026, at 11:00 p.m.
For certain courses, the registration period has been extended until July 17, 2026. If you have any questions, please feel freeto contact Miriam Meyer-Scheffel.
The first session begins on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Students select a course from the Studium Fundamentale module ( Module No.: 323350).
Course descriptions and registration take place online via the university’s booking portal: booking.hszg.de, within the specified registration period—typically in June for the summer semester and in January for the winter semester. The courses are organized by subject area.
After the registration deadline, participants are assigned to their courses based on the courses being offered and the available seats.
Important: Courses may be canceled. In this case, the affected students will be notified by email.
When you receive the email confirming your course assignment, you will automatically be registered for the exam at the start of the semester (subject to the changes mentioned above).
You can only register for one course at a time. If a course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, we will notify you in a timely manner via email.
During the registration period, you can sign up for and drop out of different courses as often as you like via the registration portal.
Important: After the registration period ends, you may only change your course selection until the second week of the semester, upon written request. This requires the involvement of the relevant instructors and the Studium Fundamentale department head.
The events take place either in Zittau or Görlitz. Please find out which module is offered at which location.
