Brief description

The format "Austausch Lehre HSZG" is a cross-faculty / trans-faculty exchange format for lecturers at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences on current university and media didactic topics.

The 45-minute online format focuses on short impulses from teaching practice and their joint discussion. Lecturers gain insights into tried-and-tested approaches to university teaching and can contribute their own experiences, questions and perspectives. The aim is to make practical ideas visible and promote the transfer of good teaching practice among colleagues.

The format builds on the previous "Digital Teaching Exchange" and extends the focus to current developments in higher education and media didactics.

Aims of the format

• Raising awareness of university didactic topics
• Reflection on one's own teaching activities in a collegial exchange
• Presentation of tried and tested practical examples from teaching

• Promoting the cross-faculty / trans-faculty exchange of experience

Focal points

The impulses address current topics from studying and teaching, for example

• Practical examples from university teaching
• Digital and hybrid teaching formats
• Methods and tools for teaching
• Electronic examinations and assessments
• Promotion of digital skills
• Challenges and solutions in digital teaching

• Information on current developments and events

Procedure

The format follows a compact sequence:

1. Short impulse from teaching practice (approx. 10-15 minutes)
2. Discussion and exchange with the participants

3. Questions, experiences and suggestions for your own teaching

• Lecturers at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences
• Employees who support classes / courses
