HSZG Digital Service Center

Digitalization that makes a difference.

The DSZ brings people, knowledge, and technology together. It makes digital services more accessible, supports change, and ensures that good ideas are turned into reliable solutions for the entire university.

Introducing the DSZ

A single address for the digital university.

The Digital Service Center shapes and supports the digital transformation at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. We align strategic goals with the specific needs of academic programs, teaching, research, technology transfer, and administration. Our goal is to identify digital opportunities early on, pool them effectively, and work with the university’s various departments to turn them into sustainable solutions. In doing so, we bring people, processes, and technologies together.

At the same time, we develop and coordinate a needs-based IT service management system: from the transparent provision of digital services and centralized contact and support structures to the continuous improvement of service quality and user-centricity.

Easy Access

A central point of contact collects questions, ideas, and needs and forwards them to the appropriate department.

Joint Solutions

Business units, IT, and project teams develop solutions together—in a transparent manner and with clearly defined roles.

Sustainable Operations

Project results are documented, incorporated into daily operations, and continuously refined.

For now, you can still find information about HRZ and Zfe on the existing pages. Until the new self-service portal is launched, the existing ticket addresses will remain valid.

Structure of the DSZ

Easily accessible. Expertly skilled. Flexible in implementation.

The front office serves as the central point of entry. The back office brings together technical, organizational, and strategic expertise. Interdisciplinary project teams are formed for specific projects.

Service Areas

Bundle services. Shape digital transformation.

The DSZ supports digital initiatives from the initial idea through to sustainable operation. Across our departments, we combine strategic oversight, project and process management, and digital frameworks with modern IT service management. In this way, we develop, operate, and improve digital services in collaboration with the university departments—ensuring they are user-centered, secure, and future-proof.
