Course Objective

This course provides you with the skills needed to independently implement an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 or conduct an energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247-1 within your organization

Skills Covered

• Basic knowledge of energy policy and energy law
• Requirements for energy audits in accordance with DIN EN 16247-1:2012
• Requirements for EnMS according to ISO 50001 and their practical implementation in companies
• Basic knowledge of energy-efficient cross-sector technologies

Prerequisites for Participation

Regular attendance at the class / course and successful completion of the examination component for Module 290050 “Corporate Energy and Climate Protection Management,” or proof of adequate knowledge

Target Audience

Master’s students in the following degree programmes: integrated management systems; or students in other degree programmes who have taken the above-mentioned module as an elective
