Senior College

Academic lectures, panel discussions, seminars, and field trips are the focus of the SeniorenKolleg, which is aimed at interested older residents of Zittau, Görlitz, and the surrounding area.

The Senior College operates with separate programs in Zittau and Görlitz. During the semester, a Senior College event takes place at least once a month at one of the university locations. Sessions generally begin on Wednesdays at 4:15 p.m.

The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences’ Senior College cooperates with the District Senior Citizens’ Council of the Görlitz district. Support is provided by the Friends of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences e. V. and the university’s “Studium Fundamentale” program.
