Event Description The event centers around an intensive 5-day design competition: Working in interdisciplinary teams, you will develop your own boat concepts—from the initial idea to the finished watercraft. The goal is to develop a design concept that can be realized using large-format 3D printing while also meeting the fundamental requirements for a functional boat. These include, in particular, stability, buoyancy, load-bearing capacity, and a well-thought-out design.
The winning team’s design will be produced using a large-format 3D printer. But participation is worthwhile for everyone else, too: You’ll gain practical experience, work on a real-world technical challenge, and be able to highlight your project as a strong asset in future job applications.
