The visit focused on academic exchange and preparations for a planned delegation trip in November. As part of the cooperation with JobVenture, a spin-off from Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Tran Quoc Huy oversees German language training for trainees in the care sector and prospective students directly on site in Vietnam.
In preparation for the planned delegation visit, the guest was given an insight into the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences campus and the working and research infrastructure of the GAT Institute. Particular interest was shown in the Living Lab AAL Laboratory, where application-oriented technologies for health, care, assistance systems and age-appropriate living and working environments are demonstrated.
The visit highlighted the potential for further development of the existing collaboration between the university, industry partners and international educational institutions. Particular focus is placed on issues relating to the linguistic, professional and cultural preparation of international trainees and students, as well as on facilitating smooth transitions between training, study and professional life.
With a view to the planned delegation visit in November, the discussions are to be further deepened and potential joint activities finalised. The aim is to expand the existing cooperation in the long term and to open up new perspectives for international educational pathways, the development of skilled workers and practice-oriented university cooperation.
