Corona grievance box for your problems

Dear students,

As StuRa, we have the task of representing student interests. During the current crisis, we have developed solutions to problems, sought contact with the faculty management and also discussed problems in (online) teaching from a student perspective with individual lecturers. However, we also recognize that some problems can only be solved by the university management and have therefore always worked closely with the Rectorate on relevant issues. For data protection reasons, we are only ever allowed to discuss these issues completely anonymously. Problems brought to the Rectorate can therefore sometimes not be addressed in the desired form.

In addition to the StuRa's previous e-mail address as the addressee for your problems, concerns and challenges, the Rectorate has therefore set up another central e-mail address so that both the StuRa and the university management are equally informed about your challenges and can initiate appropriate measures without loss of time or information. The e-mail address is intended as a further option if you have been unsuccessful in contacting lecturers, program representatives, deans of studies or deans or if you are looking for another point of contact. The e-mail address is managed by the Vice President for Education and International Affairs, Prof. Sophia Keil, and thus reaches the highest authority at the university directly. The e-mail address can also be used for ideas and suggestions for improvement relating to the current corona semester.

For data protection reasons, the StuRa cannot have access to this e-mail address this time. In order to avoid multiple processing of the problem by the Rectorate and the StuRa due to the labor-intensive and ambiguous anonymization of the problems, we therefore ask you to send all mails with your problems both to the new e-mail address coronasemester@hszg.de and to stura@hszg.de. In this way, we can exchange information about the content of the mails without anonymization and in compliance with data protection laws and thus organize and coordinate a quick and joint solution. It also allows you to communicate transparently and solve your problems, ensuring that your emails are processed by the StuRa and the Rectorate.

As StuRa, we take a critical view of seemingly simple problems being sent directly by the Rectorate to the person(s) responsible for the problem, as this way of solving problems can also have the opposite effect. Therefore, please only use this e-mail address after it has not been possible to solve the problem after consultation with your lecturers. The cooperation of the StuRa enables a low-threshold and accurate communication of the problems with the problem solvers. The form to be chosen will be selected in close cooperation between the Rectorate and StuRa, as well as on the basis of experience, and the StuRa and the Faculty Student Committees of the various faculties will of course continue to be at your side as student representatives for your perhaps very personal problems and concerns.

Best regards from the Rectorate and the StuRa

Corona Lamentation Box

Dear students,as StuRa we have the task to represent the student interests. In the current crisis we have worked out solutions for problems, sought contact with the faculty management and also exchanged views with individual lecturers on problems in (online) teaching from a student perspective. However, we also see that some problems can only be solved by the university management and have therefore always maintained intensive cooperation with the Rectorate on relevant topics. For data protection reasons, we are only allowed to exchange information on these topics in a completely anonymous form. Problems brought to the attention of the Rectorate can therefore sometimes not be addressed in the desired form.

In addition to the StuRa's previous e-mail address as the addressee for your problems, concerns and challenges, the Rectorate has therefore set up a further central e-mail address so that both StuRa and the university management are equally informed about your challenges and can initiate appropriate measures without loss of time and information. The e-mail address is intended as a further option if the contact with lecturers, representatives of the study programs, deans of studies, deans of the university is unsuccessful or you are looking for another contact point. The e-mail address is administered by the Prorector for Education and International Affairs, Prof. Sophia Keil, and thus reaches the highest authority of the university without any detours.the e-mail address can also be used for ideas and suggestions for improvement concerning the current Corona semester.

For reasons of data protection, the StuRa cannot access this e-mail address this time. In order to avoid multiple processing of the problem by the Rectorate and the StuRa due to the labor-intensive and ambiguous anonymization of the problems, we therefore ask you to send all mails with your problems to the new e-mail address coronasemester@hszg.de, as well as to stura@hszg.de. This way we can exchange information about the content of the mails without the anonymization and without any data protection concerns and thus organize and coordinate a fast and common solution finding. It also enables you to communicate and solve your problems in a transparent way, so that the StuRa and the Rectorate can ensure that your emails are processed.

As a StuRa we are critical of the fact that even seemingly simple problems are passed on directly by the rectorate to the person(s) responsible for the problem, as this way of solving problems can also have the opposite effect. Therefore, please use this e-mail address only after a problem solution was not possible after consultation with your lecturers. The cooperation of the StuRa enables a low-threshold and dimensionally accurate communication of the problems with the problem managers. The dimensional accuracy of the form to be chosen is chosen in close cooperation between the Rectorate and the StuRa, as well as from experience. The StuRa, as well as the student councils of the different faculties will of course continue to support you as student representatives for your perhaps very personal problems and concerns.
