Employee Academic Controlling (m/f/d) - Keyword: 09-2026 Controlling -

The post holder will be responsible for the following tasks in particular:

• Independent preparation of capacity and utilization calculations, determination of admission figures and calculation of curricular values,
• Preparation of teaching assignment planning, incl. checking of teaching fees and reductions, preparation of decision papers for the university management and the SMWK as well as further development of processes and reporting,
• Advising faculties on capacity planning in teaching and studies,
• Process coordination and development as well as cooperation in the implementation of the digitization of the overall process, including further development of database systems and Controlling tools (e.g. HISinOne-BI, HIS-SVA, Excel),
• Central contact person for inquiries regarding statistics in the field of academic Controlling in and outside the university and for standards and methodology of statistical data collection and evaluation,

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university degree related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility, preferably in business administration/economics, ideally with a focus on Controlling & Finance or a comparable qualification,
• Strong affinity for numbers, analytical skills,
• professional handling of the MS Office package, especially Excel, and ERP programs, affinity for digital solutions.

The following are also desirable

• Experience/knowledge in the application of the HSDAVO or HKapVO and relevant legal framework conditions,
• Knowledge of the structure and organization of a university,
• a working knowledge of English.
