Would you like to rethink business and support companies on their path to greater sustainability? On the Bachelor's degree course in Sustainable Business Management, you will not only acquire sound business knowledge, but also learn how corporate success and responsible action can go hand in hand.

Future-oriented business expertise

In this practice-oriented course, you will immerse yourself in all relevant areas of modern business administration:

  • Classic business administration basics from accounting to HR management
  • Sustainability management and resource-conserving corporate management
  • Digital skills for the business world of tomorrow
  • Communication skills for conflict resolution and team leadership
  • Project management with a focus on sustainable development

Particularly valuable: you systematically combine business management expertise with sustainability aspects. You will apply your knowledge directly through practical case studies, business games and a 12-week industrial placement. From the 5th semester onwards, you can specialize according to your interests - for example in the area of Controlling of Sustainable Companies or Sustainable Marketing in the Digital Age.

Course of study

During your studies, you will combine business fundamentals with the challenges of a sustainable economy. In the first semesters, you will acquire solid basic knowledge in the core commercial areas - from accounting and marketing to HR management and financing.

At the same time, you will deal with the fundamentals of sustainable business. The environmental, climate protection, sustainability and energy management module teaches you how ecological and social aspects can be integrated into business decisions. Methodological subjects such as mathematics and statistics provide you with important analytical tools.

From the fifth semester onwards, you can choose from various specializations to shape your personal study profile. You will apply your knowledge directly in practical projects and business games. In the seventh semester, you will complete a 12-week company internship and write your Bachelor's thesis on a current topic in sustainable business management.
