At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (HSZG), Office of University Development and Communication, a full-time position (40 hours/week) is available at the earliest possible date as

 

Employee for Accreditation and Audit (m/f/d)

- Reference: 65-2024 Accreditation -

 

to be filled for a limited period until 30.09.2025. The position is divisible.

The job holder (m/f/d) has the following tasks in particular:

  • Support in the implementation of the system re-accreditation procedure (external assessment of the quality management system for studies/teaching), in particular in the context of
    • preparation of the university's self-documentation,
    • Preparation and follow-up of on-site inspections,
    • Communication with the supervising agency and with the university's internal stakeholders,
  • Preparation, organization, monitoring and documentation of procedures for the internal accreditation of study programmes, in particular the coordination of tasks and communication with the faculties and university committees involved, including
    • Supervision of external experts in the context of internal accreditations,
    • Examination of degree programs with regard to compliance with formal quality criteria,
    • Preparation of specification documents and reports, in particular test reports on compliance with the quality criteria and quality reports for the Accreditation Council,
    • Notification of accredited study programs to the Accreditation Council and maintenance of study program parameters in the ELIAS database,
    • scheduling and controlling of internal accreditations,
  • Supervision of central document management on the intranet, including formatting of documents,
  • Coordination of the "family-friendly university" audit for family-friendly study and working conditions, in particular
    • Coordination of the work of the working group and the implementation of measures,
    • Documentation, presentation and communication of project activities.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • Completed university degree with reference to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,
  • professional experience and knowledge in a university context,
  • experience in the field of quality management and quality assurance,
  • conceptual, analytical and communication skills,
  • strong experience in the use of MS Office programs.

In addition, the following are desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of administrative processes and relevant legal principles of university operations and teaching,
  • Knowledge and experience of quality assurance and quality management at universities and in the area of the family-friendly university audit,
  • Knowledge of and experience with the content management system TYPO3,
  • experience in the creation of texts, presentations and publications as well as
  • a working knowledge of English.
