The program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for recruiting academic excellence, increases their visibility and attractiveness as employers and increases equal opportunities, diversity and work-life balance.

As part of the project, the post holder (m/f/d) will be responsible for the following tasks in particular

• Supporting the faculty management, in particular
  - strategic further development of teaching and research focal points,
  - development of administrative processes as well as cooperation with organizations,
  - cooperation in the re-accreditation of the social science courses with regard to the law modules.

• Safeguarding teaching in seminars, tutorials and internships
  - in particular in law modules of the social science degree programs and
  - supporting projects and practical phases.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• A successfully completed academic university degree (univ. Master's, Magister, Diplom or accredited Master's degree from a university of applied sciences) in the field of social sciences, in particular social work,
• knowledge of the legal areas of the SGB and
• experience in university teaching or adult education.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Willingness to do a doctorate as part of the project,
• Further education and/or training in the field of didactics,
• knowledge of university-related structures and processes as well as experience in the areas of networking, committee and public relations work and
• social, intercultural and communication skills.
