The virtual conference "Factory of the future - IMPULSE for the value creation of tomorrow", which took place on March 17, 2022, welcomed numerous guests and impressed them with its exciting content.
In 3 sessions, the researchers and practice partners gave interesting presentations on the virtual stage about current challenges and research projects as well as new solutions in the production and logistics sector. In addition to the sessions on "Added value from data - AI in production" and "Self-organization and sustainability in production", the session "Man and machine - working world 4.0" highlighted the supportive use of assistance systems and co-creation in technology development. The conference was accompanied by virtual tours and exhibition stands, which gave the more than 100 participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with each other.
The virtual conference was organized by the Co-Creation Lab "Factory of the Future" under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dirk Reichelt. The Co-Creation Lab is part of the Saxony5 transfer network of the five Saxon universities of applied sciences in Dresden, Leipzig, Mittweida, Zittau/ Görlitz and Zwickau.
