Book recommendations on the changeable animal-human relationship
How important are animals to us? Whether small or large, unknown or known, every animal is important - whether as an aid and support for mental and physical illnesses, as a friend and companion or as part of the ecosystem. Some animals are pests in our eyes, some are revered and loved.
The coexistence of humans and animals is omnipresent in our society, as is, unfortunately, the mass farming of animals. Many animals are born for slaughter and usually see nothing more than the inside of a barn.
Our current book recommendations aim to shed light on some aspects of this discrepancy in the animal-human relationship.
