Professor Dr. Erik Hahn took part in the International Guest Lecturer Week at Banku Augstskola (School of Business and Finance) in Riga from 28.11.2016 to 02.12.2016. Banku Augstskola is one of the leading business schools in Latvia and offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration, Finance, International Management, Banking, Creative Industry and Cybersecurity Management for 1300 students. Students also have the opportunity to obtain a PhD in Business Management.
There is a partnership between Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and Banku Augstskola, which enables mobility for students and teaching staff. As part of the International Guest Lecturer Week funded by Erasmus+, Professor Dr. Hahn gave lectures on international UN sales law. The UN Sales Convention from 1980 has been ratified by 85 countries worldwide and regulates the commercial sale of goods between parties from different contracting states.
