The position includes the representation of the above-mentioned professorship, in particular with the following focal points:

• Accounting and its digital and AI-supported further development
• Preparation and analysis of annual financial statements under commercial law
• Tax balance sheets and their integration into decision-oriented controlling processes (e.g. cash flow-oriented)
• Cost and performance accounting, in particular performance costing, short-term income statement and budgeting
• Commercial, quantitative and data-based Controlling
• including special features in the health and care sector (incl. medical controlling) and in the public sector

in lectures, seminars, exercises, internships and projects as well as in continuing education. Where appropriate, classes / courses related to the area of appointment are to be offered. Teaching units must be secured university-wide.

In addition to teaching duties, the candidate must independently carry out research and development tasks in the area of appointment, actively participate in the International Affairs of the university and the further development of the subject area and take on tasks in academic self-administration.

The ability and willingness to participate in integrative, practice-oriented and internship-related courses is required, as is the willingness and ability to offer classes / courses in English.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• A successfully completed university degree in a scientific field related to the above-mentioned subject area,
• a special aptitude for academic work (usually to be demonstrated by a relevant doctorate),
• experience in applied research and knowledge transfer,
• demonstrable links between the professional career and the content and tasks of the professorship,
• teaching experience in higher education or in continuing education,
• When filling the position, particular emphasis is placed on practical experience in the subject area, especially in the health or care sector, and ideally in the public sector.
