A unique medium-voltage DC laboratory will be set up as part of this project. In the long term, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is to become a leading institution in the research and implementation of DC networks on a national and international level. A concept is to be developed for the effective public presentation of this trend-setting work and the transfer of the project results to the research community.

The post holder will have the following tasks in particular:

• Preparation of press releases - Support for public relations work,
• Development of the corporate design for the DC-LabSaxony,
• Development of flyers and presentations,
• Creation and updating of websites (Wordpress, Typo3),
• Management of the social media channels (LinkedIn, ...),
• Writing podcasts and conducting interviews,
• Support for external inquiries and events with a broad impact,
• Organization of events (preparation, implementation and follow-up),
• Organization of meetings (preparation and follow-up.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• very good relevant university degree (Bakk., Diplom) with reference to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,
• in-depth specialist knowledge and relevant experience in the field of public relations, especially in the organization of events, the management of social media channels, the creation of publicity materials and publications,
• Experience and/or knowledge in the use of relevant graphics software,
• Confident interaction with various stakeholder groups, target group-oriented communication.

The following are also desirable

• Experience with Wordpress / Typo3,
• Knowledge of methods for creating print media and podcasts,
• Interest in technical developments and contexts,
• a working knowledge of English,
• knowledge of university structures.
