The job holder has the following tasks in particular:

• Supervision in the fitness rooms at the Görlitz site, checking the sports equipment, reporting malfunctions/defects on the sports equipment, decommissioning if necessary,
• Instructing new students in the facilities and drawing up training plans for the equipment,
• Assisting with the creation of course schedules and conducting courses/group training,
• Checking access authorization,
• Participation in university sports events (e.g. sports festival),
• Supporting public relations work in the context of fitness training,
• Monitoring and implementation of hygiene requirements for sports equipment, provision of hygiene articles.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Exercise instructor training (popular sports),
• a working knowledge of English that is relevant to the job.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Experience in functional training/CrossFit,
• Experience in group training.
