Training Objective

Advise, coach, support—or better yet, just take responsibility for “everything”? Officers in management systems have a hard time finding their place in day-to-day business operations. The official job description is hardly sufficient to effectively negotiate collaboration with line management. As a result, the stress never ends, and every new division of tasks holds the potential for conflict.

By introducing the concept of “role,” common management system standards (e.g., DIN ISO 9001:2015, 5.3) provide us with a tool to create greater clarity. When properly applied, it offers officers a secure and robust foundation for collaboration within the organization.
