The application deadline for the Master's degree programs at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has been extended.

The application deadline for the Master's degree programs at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has been extended.

Until 28.02.2019, those interested can still apply for further studies from summer semester 2019 online enroll. They can choose from the following Master's degree programs. The relevant requirements are attached to the respective degree program.

 

 

 

Degree courses starting in summer semester 2019

  • Mechatronics 210 ECTS points required (application also possible in the winter semester)
  • Energy Technology (application also possible in the winter semester) 210 ECTS credits required, propaedeutic semester possible for Bachelor graduates with 180 ECTS credits
  • Mechanical Engineering (application also possible in the winter semester) 210 ECTS credits required, propaedeutic semester possible for Bachelor graduates with 180 ECTS credits
  • Pharmaceutical Biotechnology 210 ECTS credits required, from winter semester 2019/20 propaedeutic semester planned for applicants with 180 ECTS credits
  • Biotechnology and Applied Ecology 210 ECTS credits required to start in the summer semester (180 ECTS credits in the winter semester) For the field of study "Protection and Use of Biodiversity" application to the HSZG, for the field of study "Environmental Sciences and Biotechnology" application to the IHI Zittau  
  • Integrated Management Systems 210 ECTS credits required (integrated management with 180 ECTS credits possible in the winter semester). Special application see website (application also possible in the winter semester)
  • Management of Social Change 210 ECTS credits required to start in the summer semester (180 ECTS credits in the winter semester

    )The consecutive Master's degree in Management of Social Change is aimed at Bachelor's graduates with a degree in humanities, economics or related

    subjects.

    The focus of the content is on transformation research, organizational sociology and management processes in changing economic and social systems as well as empirical social research. Master's students are involved in current research projects at the university and its institutes. The course director is the renowned sociologist Professor Dr. habil. Raj Kollmorgen, who is an expert in the field of organizational sociology and elite research. For personal advice, please contact Cornelia Müller.

  • Social Gerontology part-time, subject to a fee (500 €/sem.) 210 ECTS required

    The course is aimed at those interested in working in the field of elderly care or related areas. The focus is on teaching gerontological theory and intervention processes, but also on the socio-political framework in which ageing takes place in society. Students are actively involved in existing research projects and also acquire theory-based knowledge of empirical social research. The head of the course is the internationally renowned sociologist Prof. Dr. Andreas Hoff, who has several years of teaching and research experience at the University of Oxford (UK).
