Anyone who wants to start an on-campus degree course in the winter semester 20/21 and has not yet secured a place can still apply for selected courses at the HSZG.
"We are very pleased about the good applicant situation this year. In some NC-free degree courses, we can still give young people the chance to start their studies in October. The courses in the first semester will mainly take place in person. This means that it will be extremely easy to start studying at the HSZG," explains Rector Prof. Dr. Alexander Kratzsch.
Applications for the following degree courses will still be possible in the next few days:

Bachelor's degree course in Automation and Mechatronics (also possible on a diploma and KIA* basis)
Bachelor's degree course in Business Administration
Bachelor's degree course in Electrical Energy Systems (also possible ona diploma and KIA* basis)
Bachelo r's degree course in Energy and Environmental Engineering (also possible on a diploma and KIA* basis) Bachelor's degree course in Informaticsand Environmental Engineering (also possible for Diplom and KIA*)
Bachelor's degree course in Computer Science
Bachelor's degree course in Culture and Management
Bachelor's degree course in Mechanical Engineering (also possible for Diplom and KIA*)

*KIA is a dual university degree program integrated with vocational training with two degrees: Skilled worker
(with chamber examination IHK or HWK) and university degree (bachelor or diploma). In other words, after two and a half years of shortened training, you will have passed the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts and Trades (HWK) examination to obtain a skilled worker qualification and, after a further two or two and a half years, you will have a university degree in your pocket.
