Secure a Last-Minute Place at University
There are still places at university in some degree programmes—submit your application now!
Anyone who wants to begin an in-person degree programme in the 2020–2021 winter semester and has not yet secured a place at university can still submit an application for select degree programmes at HSZG.
“We are very pleased with the good number of applicants this year. In some degree programmes with restricted admission (numerus clausus), we can still offer young people the chance to begin their studies in October. Most classes / courses in the first semester will be held in person. Therefore, starting your studies at HSZG will be an exceptionally good experience!” explains Rector Prof. Dr. Alexander Kratzsch.
Applications are still being accepted in the coming days for the following degree programmes:
Bachelor's Program in Applied Natural Sciences (also available as a dual program)
Bachelor's Program in Automation and Mechatronics (also available as a Diplom and KIA* program)
Bachelor's Program in Business Administration
Bachelor's Program in Electrical Power Systems (also available as a Diplom and KIA* program)
Bachelor’s Program in Energy and Environmental Engineering (also available as a Diplom and KIA* program)
Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science
Bachelor’s Program in Culture and Management
Bachelor’s Program in Mechanical Engineering (also available as a Diplom and KIA* program)
Bachelor’s Program in Molecular Biotechnology
Bachelor’s Program in Ecology and Environmental Protection
Diplom degree course in Engineering Management
Bachelor’s Program in Economics and Computer Science
Diplom degree course in Housing and Real Estate Management
*KIA is a dual university program that integrates vocational training and leads to two degrees: a skilled worker certification
(with an IHK or HWK chamber exam) and a university degree (Bachelor’s or Diplom). This means that after a shortened training period of two and a half years, you will earn the skilled worker certification by passing the IHK or HWK exam, and after an additional two or two and a half years, you will have your college degree in hand.
