Should I Stay or Should I go - Creating encounters in and with the East

The panel will explore the questions of why East Germans left or left East Germany, why they should stay or should come back, what encounters are needed to establish a diverse society, resilient community and culture in East Germany. And much more importantly: is the East so different from the West and should we not speak in terms of society as a whole and still work out our own specifics?

Moderation: Eveline Günther (Head Dramaturge at the Deutsch-Sorbisches Volkstheater Bautzen)
