Raising the International Profile of Saxon Stakeholders
On November 8 and 9, 2022, the online networking event Projects4GreenEnergy:Connected will take place, featuring live presentations, pitches, and one-on-one meetings with experts that can be booked individually. Currently, more than 350 participants from 35 countries have already registered. Join us in this meeting of research and practice in the future-oriented field of energy research!
The event is organized by the Enterprise Europe Network Consortium in Saxony (EEN Saxony) and the Saxon Energy Agency – SAENA GmbH, and is designed to be a platform for raising the international profile of Saxony’s outstanding expertise in the field of energy research. These include both colleges and universities as well as innovative startups and companies.
In addition to cluster presentations by, among others, Energy Saxony e.V., and the Cleantech Initiative East Germany, the National Contact Point for Climate, Energy, and Mobility (NKS KEM) will provide an in-depth overview of the 9th EU Research Framework Program, HORIZON EUROPE, and offer helpful insights into funding opportunities.
“To benefit from European funding, you need international project partners. With these events, we want to offer Saxon stakeholders in particular the opportunity to showcase their expertise to an international audience, thereby raising their profile even further.” So says Thomas Wendland, one of the co-organizers at the Saxon Energy Agency—SAENA GMBH. “At the same time, the event offers a unique opportunity to establish contacts with business and project partners or to join existing interest groups, as it is designed not only as a venue for live presentations but also as a networking platform. Specifically, participants (currently over 360 from 36 countries) can meet in virtual rooms,” adds Tobias Schlüter from the Enterprise Europe Network office at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
The event team is using the CELSIUZ – Co-Creation Lab at the Mandauhöfe in Zittau for the virtual event.
