Making Saxon players even more visible internationally
On November 8 and 9, 2022, the networking event Projects4GreenEnergy:Connected, consisting of live presentations, pitches and individually bookable one-on-one meetings with the experts, will take place online. More than 350 participants from 35 countries have already registered. Become part of the encounter between research and practice in the future-oriented field of energy research!
The event is organized by the Enterprise Europe Network Consortium in Saxony (EEN Saxony) and the Saxon Energy Agency - SAENA GmbH and is intended as a format to make the outstanding expertise of Saxon players in the field of energy research even more visible on the international stage. These include colleges and universities as well as innovative start-ups and companies.
In addition to cluster presentations by Energy Saxony e.V. and Cleantech Initiative Ostdeutschland, among others, the National Contact Point Climate, Energy and Mobility (NKS KEM) will provide in-depth information on the 9th EU research framework program HORIZONT EUROPA and give helpful insights into funding.
"In order to benefit from European funding, you need international project partners. With this event, we want to offer Saxon players in particular the opportunity to present their own expertise to an international audience in order to gain even greater visibility." Says Thomas Wendland, one of the co-organizers at the Saxon Energy Agency - SAENA GMBH. "At the same time, the event offers a unique opportunity to establish contacts with business and project partners or to join existing interest groups, as it is also designed as a cooperation exchange in addition to the live presentations. Specifically, participants (currently over 360 from 36 countries) can meet in virtual rooms" adds Tobias Schlüter from the Enterprise Europe Network office at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
The event team is using the CELSIUZ - Co-Creation Lab in the Zittau Mandauhöfe for the virtual event.
