Training Objective

Should you advise, coach, support—or is it better to just take responsibility for “everything” right away? Officers in management systems often find it difficult to establish their position in day-to-day business operations. The official job description is hardly sufficient to effectively negotiate collaboration with line management. As a result, the stress never ends, and every new division of tasks carries the potential for conflict.

By introducing the concept of “role,” common management system standards (e.g., DIN ISO 9001:2015, 5.3) provide us with a tool to create greater clarity. When properly applied, it offers officers a secure and robust starting point for collaboration within the organization.
