On January 13, the Children's Academy of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will make a guest appearance at the Makerspace Geistesblitz in Löbau. The open workshop aims to sensitize young people in particular to future technologies and enable them to successfully implement their own DIY projects. In cooperation with the university, a very special event entitled "3D printing and augmented reality: experiencing the future up close" is being held specifically for primary school pupils from the region. At this event, 3D printing will be used live and augmented reality will be seen with modern data goggles.
The lectures are aimed at children aged 8 to 12. Participation is free of charge and at your own risk. Parents are not permitted during the lecture. As at a real university, children receive a student ID card and a diploma at the end of the semester.
Simultaneous interpreting is provided for Polish-speaking children.
