Podcasts make it possible to create audio content quickly and easily and make it available to a wide range of users via the internet. There are many ways in which these can be used in university teaching. According to Annette Busse, there are three types of podcasts as a didactic tool for higher education:

In the first part of the short online workshop, you will be introduced to good practices in which microteaching podcasts have been designed and produced by students for students in the context of university teaching. The second part offers you an overview of how these self-produced podcasts can be integrated into your own teaching in a didactically meaningful way to deepen learning content and develop skills.
Daniel Winkler is a lecturer in university didactics at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. His work focuses on the fundamentals of university didactics, engineering pedagogy, laboratory didactics and the use of simulation games and educational technology in university teaching. He studied at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor of Engineering) and at the International University Institute Zittau of the Dresden University of Technology (Master of Arts). In his doctoral project at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the Technical University of Dresden, he is working intensively on the design of teaching/learning scenarios for the use of augmented reality. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Ingenieurpädagogische Wissenschaftsgesellschaft and the Ingenieure ohne Grenzen association.
