ERIS is one of the six initiatives applying for the establishment of one of the two new large-scale research facilities to be created in the Saxon coal regions. During the one-day event, the scientific concept will be discussed with an expert audience.
In addition to the main areas of scientific work, the planned scientific infrastructure and cooperation opportunities for partners in science and industry will also be presented to the public from 6 p.m. onwards.

The event is offered hybrid, i.e. participation is possible for registered persons in presence or online. A participation fee will not be charged. The number of participants in attendance is limited to 100. On site, the regulations on infection protection applicable at the time of the event must be observed, possibly supplemented by other regulations of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences applicable at the event location.
