When?
From September 12 to 23, 2022—about two good weeks before the regular start of the academic year.
What can you expect?
Our new students can look forward to a diverse program of preparatory courses.
The following preparatory courses are available.
At the Zittau campus:
- Mathematics
- electrical engineering
- Physics
- chemistry
at the Görlitz campus:
- Mathematics
- computer science
The goal is to refresh your knowledge in these subjects and prepare you in a good way for the start of your studies.
And what’s on the agenda for your free time?
In addition to studying, there are also various recreational activities during the “Come In” weeks—ranging from city tours of Zittau and Görlitz to a cozy evening at the student clubs to a hike in the Zittau Mountains. This gives our new students the opportunity to make initial connections with fellow students in their own semester as well as those in higher semesters and to explore the region together.
Can I sign up just for the recreational activities?
Absolutely! …because not everyone needs math or chemistry in their degree program.
