Citizens meet science

Have you always wanted to know what the scientists at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences are up to? To look over their shoulders, ask questions during a conversation, dig deeper, and find out what challenges and opportunities exist? What benefits their research brings to our region?

In cooperation with the VHS Dreiländereck, we’re once again offering the opportunity to do just that in a very small group. In a relaxed setting, you’ll get a closer look at Upper Lusatia’s largest research institution and get to know it in a vivid and hands-on way. In a small group of no more than 10 people, you’ll engage in direct conversation, so it’s worth booking your spot early.

F for Freshly Tapped Beer… Let’s grab a beer with the sociologist and founder of the “F for Strength—Women.Life.Lausitz” platform
Amid structural change, we ask: How do women and men live in Lausitz? What challenges and prospects do they face in our region? What are the consequences of women leaving, and why are they leaving? And can we do anything about it?
In an open and relaxed atmosphere, you’ll have the chance to engage in direct conversation with Julia Gabler. Light evening snacks and drinks will, of course, be provided.
