About the degree program
The Master's degree program in International Management optimally prepares you for management tasks in the global economy. In an increasingly interconnected world, companies need specialists who not only have sound management knowledge, but also intercultural skills and can successfully shape international business relationships. This cooperative degree course - the only one of its kind in Saxony to be offered jointly with the International University Institute Zittau at TU Dresden - combines business management expertise with an international focus.

Course content
The Master's degree course is designed for four semesters and combines sound management know-how with an international perspective and individual specialization options. The structured structure takes you from basic international management concepts to specialized areas of specialization.
In the first semester, you will acquire a solid grounding in areas such as responsible management, project management and resource management. In the second semester, you will deal with interculturality, among other things. You will also choose three compulsory elective modules from a wide range of options, from business simulation games to sustainability and risk management. In the third semester, you will specialize by choosing two out of six elective specializations: International Management, Project Management, Environmental Management, Logistics Management, Finance and Accounting or Management Sciences. These specializations allow you to tailor your profile to your interests and career goals. The fourth semester is dedicated to your Master's thesis, in which you work on an international management topic.

Admission requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher (university, university of applied sciences, BA or other European university)
- major field of study in economics
- for foreign applicants: German language examination for university admission (DSH)
- Language skills: The teaching modules are predominantly held in German, individual English-language classes / courses are possible. English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are required. Proof is provided, for example, by submitting a certificate for a completed language test, such as the Internet-Based TOEFL test, the Paper-Based TOEFL test, the Computer-Based TOEFL test or the IELTS test, provided that English is not the applicant's native language and can be proven by a school leaving certificate.
