International Management Master

Thanks to our extensive network of partner universities, you’ll have the unique opportunity to earn a second European master’s degree without extending your time in school. A semester abroad at partner universities in the Czech Republic, Poland, or Hungary will provide you with valuable practical experience in an international setting and expand your professional network across national borders.

The master’s program is designed to last four semesters and combines in-depth management expertise with an international perspective and opportunities for individual specialization. The structured curriculum guides you from fundamental international management concepts to specialized areas of focus.

In the first semester, you’ll acquire a solid foundation in areas such as responsible management, project management, and resource management. In the second semester, you’ll explore topics such as intercultural communication. You’ll also select three compulsory elective modules from a wide range of options, spanning business simulation games, sustainability, and Risk management. In the third semester, you’ll specialize by choosing two out of six elective tracks: International Management, Project Management, Environmental Management, Logistics Management, Finance and Accounting, or Management Sciences. These tracks allow you to tailor your academic profile to your interests and career goals. The fourth semester is dedicated to your master’s thesis, in which you will conduct academic research on an international management topic.

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (university, university of applied sciences, BA, or other European university)
• Major in economics
• For international applicants: German Language Proficiency Test for University Admission (DSH)
• Language proficiency: Classes / courses are primarily taught in German, though some English-language classes / courses may be offered. English proficiency at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required. Proof of proficiency may be provided, for example, by submitting a certificate from a completed language test, such as the Internet-Based TOEFL, the Paper-Based TOEFL, the Computer-Based TOEFL, or the IELTS, provided that English is not the applicant’s native language and this can be demonstrated by a high school diploma.
