At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz, the Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking to fill the following position at the earliest possible date in the field of

Inclusion and Participation Code SH - 041V-

to fill a temporary full-time position for the duration of the replacement, but until 28.02.2024 at the latest.

The position includes the representation of the above-mentioned professorship in teaching and research, in particular with the following focal points:

  • Theories, concepts, methods and strategies of special and inclusive education, taking into account the related disciplines relevant to inclusion
  • Educational and social science discourses on inclusion, separation and exclusion in theory and practice
  • Perspectives on inclusion in society and institutions in a socio-political and interdisciplinary context
  • Curative and inclusive pedagogical action on the basis of a theory-integrating biographical case understanding

in lectures, seminars, exercises, internships and projects as well as in continuing education. It is expected that the aforementioned focal points of the area of appointment will be implemented in professional practice in an advisory capacity.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • A relevant, academic university degree,
  • a proven pedagogical aptitude in teaching or training,
  • special aptitude for academic work,
  • teaching experience in the university/university sector and
  • at least a good command of English.
