Research Assistant Profile Development Innovative Teaching (m/f/d)

The program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for the recruitment of academic excellence. The sub-project of the Faculty of Managerial and Cultural Studies deals, among other things, with increasing attractiveness through profiling and positioning and is integrated into an overarching project structure taking into account the central strategic goals of the HSCG.

The position includes the following tasks in particular:

Participation in the profile building and positioning of the faculty,
Co-initiating and promoting innovative and attractive teaching and learning methods, including in internal faculty qualification programs as well as for junior staff development programs at the faculty,
Supporting and assisting staff and students in the design and use of ePortfolios,
Development and provision of multimedia interactive online exercises, tutorials and group work for individual support and additional learning opportunities for students,
Promoting young talent by initiating and implementing interdisciplinary media didactic projects,
Developing family-friendly teaching units, including by making digital teaching units and learning materials more widely available,
Researching doctoral networks and cooperations within and outside the university.

The following knowledge and skills are required

Completed academic university studies related to the above-mentioned field of work, preferably computer science,
Experience in the field of university development, ideally in the development of modern curricula and interdisciplinary programs,
Several years of experience in the field of e/blended learning,
experience in working with learning platforms/learning management systems and authoring tools,
proven methodological and didactic knowledge and skills in the field of university teaching,
key digital skills
good knowledge of English.

In addition, the following are desirable

Knowledge of procedures and business processes in universities,
experience in project work including presentation and documentation.

Further information

The remuneration for tariff employees is in EG 13 TV-L if the professional requirements are met. The 1st place of work is Görlitz. A probationary period will be agreed.
