Summer party in the town hall

On Sunday 18.06.2017 from 15-18 o'clock the summer festival will take place in the Stadthallen-Garten. You can expect a colorful stage program, children's surprises, food, ice cream...

I'm sure many of you have already thought about the large unused building opposite the university.

The Stadthalle Görlitz is an extraordinary concert hall building with the world's only concert hall organ of this size from the Art Nouveau era, which has been preserved unchanged to this day. It is part of Germany's intangible cultural heritage and a decision on its inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List will be made in the fall.

Students on the "Culture and Management" course are collecting and processing possible visions for the future of Görlitz Town Hall in a research seminar. They are so enthusiastic about the work, which is supported by the Sparkassenstiftung Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien and the Förderverein der Stadthalle Görlitz,  that they want to continue working on it beyond the module.

On June 18 from 10:00-17:00, the otherwise inaccessible large hall of the Stadthalle will be open to all interested parties! The work of the research seminar will also be presented. Come and see for yourself what the students of the Faculty of Management and Cultural Studies are enthusiastic about. We look forward to welcoming you to the Stadthalle and discussing the future of this important Görlitz building with you.
