220 teaching units of theory and methods, 100 teaching units of self-awareness and self-reflection, 100 teaching units of supervision, 80 teaching units of intervision,
70 teaching units of verified practical experience in the form of documented counseling work

Degree / Certification:

Upon fulfillment of all requirements, the continuing education program concludes with a certificate of completion as a “Systemic Counselor (HSZG/ISA).”

The continuing education program follows the guidelines of the German Society for Systemic Therapy and Family Therapy (DGSF) in terms of content, duration, and scope.

Upon fulfilling all requirements (Years 1–3), participants may apply to the DGSF for recognition as a “Systemic Counselor – DGSF.”
The following achievements must be met to receive the certificate:
• Regular attendance at the seminars (420 teaching units)
• Active participation and willingness to engage in supervision and self-awareness
• Proof of 100 teaching units of self-awareness/self-reflection
• Proof of 80 teaching units of peer group work and independent study
• Proof of 70 sessions of personal counseling practice
• Preparation of 3 detailed case studies, one of which must include a counseling process comprising at least 5 sessions

• Presentation of 1 live or video supervision session
• Active participation in organizing the final colloquium
• Final thesis (written and oral): Presentation of a counseling process focused on a specific topic.
