ZukLOS transfer conference

Upper Lusatia is undergoing structural change, which is accompanied by demographic change and the associated shortage of skilled workers. In order to cope with and shape these transformation processes, it is very important to prepare the upcoming generations for current and future challenges. In addition to formal school education, extracurricular education can also make a significant contribution to this.

The project "Future Learning Location Upper Lusatia - Analysis and Development of Extracurricular STEM Education " (ZukLOS) by the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and the Dresden University of Technology aims to lay the foundations for the further development of the extracurricular education landscape in Upper Lusatia - especially in the STEM sector. This includes, among other things, the exemplary testing of teaching-learning settings together with regional educational institutions, the survey of regional stakeholders and the involvement of young people as designers of their education.

The conference is aimed at schools, extracurricular youth education institutions, business, politics and science and other interested parties at the learning locations. Participation is free of charge.
