Zittau | Summer in the city

On the weekend of July 10 and 11, summer comes to the city of Zittau with a “beer garden under the palm trees,” a big band and harp music, theater and movies, clowns and acrobats—for young and old alike. And summer brings with it the fair at the festival grounds on Brückenstraße, featuring exciting attractions such as a 40-meter Ferris wheel, bumper cars, the Aqua King, the Free Fall Tower, and the Ship Swing.

Where is it taking place? You can experience all of this at the Marktplatz, in the Klosterhof, at the Fleischbänke, at St. John’s Church, at the fairgrounds on Brückenstraße, and on the open-air stage in Weinaupark, among other locations.

Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences presents: We are very pleased that four students from the university have agreed to participate in the “Summer in the City” festival. With music, magic, and humor, the students will represent our university at this festival.
