Workshop discussion at ATN Hölzel GmbH in Oppach

Since 2014, the “Workshop Talks” event series has been held on the Zittau Campus—this year, we’re switching things up and inviting you to join us on a tour of innovative companies in the region. There, too, you can expect exciting insights into the laboratories and production facilities, complemented by keynote presentations from industry and research. Company employees will be available for one-on-one, personalized discussions and can answer your specific questions.

At ATN, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the company and learn about its comprehensive solutions in custom machine and plant engineering. From concept development through electrical and mechanical design to robot programming, manufacturing, and commissioning, you’ll have a dedicated contact person right here on site.

The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will present its project: “SCO-TTI – Science Café Oberlausitz – Technology Transfer – Innovative.” SCO-TTI is a joint initiative of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG), ULT AG, and ATN Hölzel GmbH aimed at establishing a center for digital education in Upper Lusatia. On the one hand, the project focuses on training employees at SMEs to use digital technologies in their own workplaces; on the other hand, it addresses the applications of these technologies—particularly smart glasses—across a wide range of business areas, from marketing to customer service.

A collaboration between the Zittau Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) office, the Dresden Chamber of Crafts, and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
